PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the sound insulation of a door itself while improving the mounting accuracy of door glass used in a vehicle. SOLUTION: This vehicle door 1 includes an outer panel 2, a roughly U-shaped inner panel 6 jointed to the outer panel 2, a base plate 7 which is disposed between both the panels 2, 6 and is jointed to the inner panel 6, and a door trim 8. The door glass 21 and a lifting regulator 22 are integrally assembled on the base plate 7, and the base plate 7 wholly covers a central opening 11 of the inner panel 6 from the vehicle outside.
