<p>Production of fuel gas from solid fuels involves gasification and partial gasification in a fixed bed in a first stage, in which the gasifying agent, preferably air, is introduced to form two partial streams. The gas stream removed at the top is dried and pyrolyzed. In a second stage, the gas stream removed at the top is oxidized. The gas stream leaving the second stage is mixed with the gas stream removed at the bottom. Production of fuel gas from solid fuels involves carrying out a gasification and partial gasification in a fixed bed in a first stage, in which the gasifying agent, preferably air, is introduced into the middle of a fuel charge (3) using nozzles (2) and split into two partial streams (4, 5). The gas stream removed at the top passes through the upper part of the charge and is dried and pyrolyzed. In a second stage, the gas stream rich in long-chain hydrocarbons and water vapor removed at the top is oxidized by adding combustion air at 1100-1300 degrees C, so that the unwanted long-chain hydrocarbons are cracked and oxidized. The gas stream leaving the second stage is mixed with the gas stream removed at the bottom.</p> |
