The lower thread holder assembly, at a cylinder sewing machine, has a moving blade (15) secured by a screw (29) to a mounting (25) on a platform (22). The moving blade rotates around a shaft (26), and it has a curved cutting edge. A fixed blade (17) is secured by screws (30) at the vertical surface under the platform at the rotating shoulder (11), for a horizontal movement, and the end of the fixed blade is in contact with the outer side (15b) of the moving blade. The thread holder and the pressure section can be separated upwards and downwards.
