Computer mouse with no mechanical parts and using geomagnetic fields to detect displacement of mouse

Scanning module has two magnetic detectors (16A,16B) located at right angles to each other. First scan signal is change of first scan axis (19A) relative to geomagnetic field. Second scan signal is change of second scan axis (19B) relative to geometric field. Amplifier (18) and decoder (22) provide two dimensional displacement signal when user moves device (10) for wireless transfer module (24A).
