PURPOSE: A popping apparatus designed to automatically open a pressure vessel at a preset pressure and contain a buffering apparatus without requiring additional external device is provided. It reduces impact applied to the pressure vessel and lid without requiring additional external devices while permitting automatic opening of the pressure vessel at the preset pressure. CONSTITUTION: The popping apparatus(1) comprises: a forward and backward means(17) for creating linear motion of a frame(11); a sub-frame(12) installed at the frame to be rotatively driven; a pressure vessel(13) installed within the sub-frame to be rotatively driven and formed by a cereal inlet on one side; an opening means(15) containing an opening lever(151) for opening the pressure vessel and an opening cylinder(152) installed at the sub-frame to operate the opening lever; a closing means(14) installed on one side of the pressure vessel to close the cereal inlet and a heating means for heating the pressure vessel.
