<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and accurately calibrate a distance between a central line of a component pickup part of a replaced component transferring device and an optical axis of a camera for recognizing substrate in an electronic component packaging apparatus capable of replacing a plurality of component transferring devices. <P>SOLUTION: A transferring base is stopped so that a reference mark fixed to a base so as to enter into a field of view of the camera for recognizing components enters into the fiels of view of the camera, and a tip of the component pickup part of the component transferring device enters into the field of view of the camera for recognizing components. A positional relation of the optical axis of the camera and the reference mark is detected by the camera for recognizing substrates. A positional relation of the optical axis of the camera, the reference mark, and the central line of the component pickup part is detected by the camera for recognizing components. The positional relation between the optical axis of the camera for recognizing substrates and the central line of the component pickup device is calculated on the basis of these positional relation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
