PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trencher for a soil improving machine capable of preventing a corotating phenomenon in excavating the ground. SOLUTION: This trencher for the soil improving machine is provided with a driving sprocket 12, a driven sprocket 13, a ground excavating chain 6 stretched between the driving sprocket 12 and the driven sprocket 13 and having a large number of agitation blades 5 for excavating the ground; and a support frame body 11 for supporting the driving sprocket 12 or the like. The support frame body 11 is protrusively provided with a wire 21 for scraping off excavated soil stuck to the agitation blades 5 of the ground excavating chain 6.
