PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To flexibly handle and efficiently feed and collect a returnable container even when the shape and the size of the returnable container are changed. SOLUTION: A highest returnable container 14 on a carrying truck 13 on a returnable container feed side truck elevator 11 side is elevated at a predetermined level to allow each component 15 from the highest returnable container 14 to be easily taken out. The predetermined level of the highest returnable container 14 of a carrying truck 13B on a returnable container collection side truck elevator 12 side is set to be lower by the height of one returnable container from the predetermined level of the highest returnable container 14 on the carrying truck 13A to easily move an empty returnable container 14 from the carrying truck 13A to the carrying truck 13B. Since the carrying truck with the returnable container mounted thereon is elevated/lowered by the elevators 11 and 12, the returnable container can be elevated/lowered even when the size or the like of the returnable container is changed. The returnable container 14 need not be loaded/unloaded between the carrying truck and the elevators 11 and 12, and the feed and collection efficiency of the returnable container 14 can be enhanced.
