MAGNETIC TONER FOR ELECTROSTATIC IMAGE DEVELOPMENT AND IMAGE FORMING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic toner for electrostatic image development for suppressing contamination on the surface of a heat roller and for obtaining stable fixing property and image quality with almost no environmental dependence, and to provide an image forming method. SOLUTION: The magnetic toner for electrostatic image development is produced by a wet manufacturing method and comprises magnetic powder and a binder resin containing a condensation polymerization compound of a polymerizable monomer having≤8C organic oxy acid. The image forming method includes processes of: forming an electrostatic latent image on an electrostatic latent image carrying body; forming a toner image 11 by developing the electrostatic latent image with a developer layer on a developer carrying body; transferring the toner image 11 onto a transfer material 10; and fixing the toner image 11 on the surface of the fixing base material. The toner for forming the toner image 11 in the method is the above magnetic toner for electrostatic image development. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
