The steam turbine includes a stator supporting number of turbine nozzles. The stator has grooves (18) for receiving the complementary-shaped nozzle hooks (14) formed at the ends of the turbine nozzles. A rope seal (10) is interposed in each interface between the nozzle hooks and the grooves of the stator. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) a steam turbine constructing method; and (b) a stator assembly for steam turbine.
