PURPOSE: An inverter control apparatus is provided to reduce costs and allow for transmission of high speed data even without using an expensive programmable logic controller. CONSTITUTION: An inverter control apparatus comprises input/output units(30,31) for terminal input or output processing; a programmable sequence controller processor(32) serving as a programmable logic controller for performing a sequence process; a sequence program storing unit(33) for storing user sequence programs; a dual port RAM(34) for storing data and transmitting data between the programmable sequence controller processor and an inverter body processor(35); the inverter body processor serving as an inverter and corresponding to the programmable sequence controller processor; and a graphic loader(36) for loading or modifying user sequence programs.
