<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image information transmission system, the entire system cost of which can be reduced. <P>SOLUTION: An OSD / graphic generating section 61 generates a graphic menu and e.g., an OSD (on screen display) menu for a user interface of a user interface menu (menu image) for TV operations on the basis of a user instruction received through a wireless transmission / reception section 45 and a user request decode section 52, a digital TV broadcast radio wave and an image signal from a broadcast / network input section 55, or image information from an image read section 57 under the control of an image information relaying apparatus control section 53. Then the generating section 61 outputs the generated graphic menu and the generated OSD for the user interface to a compositing section 63.
