<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain display for a long period of time and shorten time for holding up a noncontact IC card to a reader/writer. <P>SOLUTION: In the noncontact IC card 1, a rectifying circuit 17 rectifies electromagnetic waves acquired via an antenna 10 to convert into a direct-current voltage, and an electric double layer capacitor 18 rapidly accumulates the electric power acquired by the conversion. Then, the electric double layer capacitor 18, by using the electric energy, operates the circuit of modulation/demodulation circuit 11, CPU 12, memory 13, controller IC 14, driver IC 15 and the like, and rewrites information to be displayed on a display element 16 using a cholesteric liquid crystal, a ferroelectric liquid crystal or the like. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
