<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic device by which a high image quality is attained by eliminating the damages of an image supporting body or a fixing member caused by a separating pawl and preventing a transfer media from being soiled by eliminating the heap of toner at the separating pawl. <P>SOLUTION: The electrophotographic device is provided with: a first supporting material to rotatably support the separating pawl; a guide part to slide the separating pawl supported by the first supporting material in the direction of the image supporting body or the fixing member or its reverse direction; a first stopper to stop the separating pawl at a position where it abuts on the image supporting body or the fixing member and formed at the guide part; a first elastic member to press the separating pawl to the image supporting body or the fixing member; and a second elastic member to press the first supporting material to the first stopper, and the pressing force of the first elastic member is set larger than that of the second elastic member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
