SOLUTION: In this control device of the automatic transmission with the auxiliary transmission having a low speed stage decelerating an input rotation before outputting and a high speed stage with a gear ratio smaller than that of the low speed stage, a creep state is determined in step 101, a target creep speed Vc (t) is read in step 102 if the creep state is realized, and the forward movement clutch 32a of the automatic transmission is engaged in step 103. Then, the engagement of the forward movement clutch 32a is determined to be completed in step 104, the gear ratio r of the automatic transmission 30 is controlled to a high speed side in step 105 so that an actual creep speed Vc (r) becomes a target creep speed Vc (t). When the actual creep speed Vc (r) becomes the target creep speed Vc (t), the control to control the gear ratio r of the automatic transmission 30 to the high speed side is completed in step 107.
