PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a sliding bearing for earthquake resistance which is excellent in load resistance, wear resistance and thickness moldability, and high in interfacial strength with an adhering layer on an pedestal side, facilitates enlargement of a thick plate molding, and prevents thermal distortion. SOLUTION: The sliding bearing for earthquake resistance mounted between a construction side and a ground side to be used, is provided with a sliding material body 11 made up of heat-resisting fiber woven fabrics and fluorine resin, an adhering layer 16 provided on the construction side of the sliding material body 11 and a wear resistance layer 15 provided on the ground side of the sliding material body 11.
