PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device for plant raising effectively using heat coming from a light source for plant raising. SOLUTION: This lighting device for plant raising has a shelf comprising an upper surface to place plants as objects to be raised on and an under surface to place a light source on. The light of the light source placed on the under surface of the shelf arranged above is applied to the plants placed on the upper surface of the shelf arranged below. The lighting device for plant raising has on the shelf radiating holes to radiate heat of the light source placed on the under surface of the shelf to the upper surface of the shelf.
