PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To process a slip configured of a plurality of sheets. SOLUTION: A slip recognizing device is provided with a template storing means for storing a plurality of slip templates configured of a plurality of pieces of page template information including the processing procedures of page images, an image inputting means for inputting a slip image configured of a plurality of page images, a slip identifying means for identifying the corresponding slip template by using at least one of the plurality of page pictures included in the slip image. Furthermore, this slip recognizing device is provided with a processing means for reading the plurality of pieces of page template information corresponding to the slip template identified by the slip identifying means from the template storing means, and for executing processing by applying a processing procedure included in the read page template information to each page image of the slip image inputted by the image inputting means.
