PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily detecting inorganic phosphorous contained in a resin material for a printed circuit board or for sealing an electronic component in a short time. SOLUTION: The total amount of phosphorus which has eluted by extracting moisture from the resin material for printed circuit boards or for sealing electronic components is measured on one hand. The amount of phosphorus in phosphoric acid ions is measured on the other. By comparing these measurement values, the presence or absence of inorganic phosphorus is determined. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
