SOLUTION: This optimal amplification degree setting method and this system 1 are equipped with a computer 30 for executing respectively a processing for determining whether the maximum level of a signal outputted from the amplifying circuits 10-12 is below the allowable maximum level or not, while setting variably the amplification degree stepwise from the maximum amplification degree toward the minimum amplification degree by the amplifying circuits 10-12, a processing for determining whether the minimum level of the signal is over the allowable minimum level or not when determined that the maximum level of the signal is below the allowable maximum level, a processing for determining whether the signal amplitude is over an allowable lower limit value or not when determined that the minimum level of the signal is over the allowable minimum level, and a processing for setting the amplification degree to be set at the optimal amplification degree of the amplifying circuits 10-12 when determined that the signal amplitude is over the allowable lower limit value by the determination.
