The present invention provides a method of substantially/totally reducing cholesterol in Animals and food products derived from such animals. Further impaired glucose metabolism in animas is prevented, by controlling postprandial glycemic response such that, risk of developing/having diabetes and obesity are prevented. The method includes feeding to the animals a food source containing restricted carbohydrate calories, with sufficient protein and fat calories alongwith phospholipids and Indian gooseberry. Additionally, its use offers economic benefits by reducing (FCR) Feed convertion ratio, thus feeding cost, by increasing Meat yield and enhancing Egg and Milk yield, by increasing protein content in Meat and decreasing deposition of fat in animals alongwith, totally freeing Meat, Egg and Milk of Cholesterol. |
