MONITOR PATH SWITCHING METHOD AND TRANSMISSION DEVICE USING THE SAME

In a system for monitor/controlling a plurality of transmitters by using the monitor path of a band in a transmission path data frame by means of a monitor-control terminal connected to any one of the plurality of transmitters connected through the transmission path and constituting a network, a monitor path switching method transmits/receives monitor path control information for controlling the monitor path to switch the monitor path. Between two transmitters facing each other via the transmission path, one transmitter performs the return control of monitor path control information received from the other transmitter and switches the monitor path when the self-transmitted monitor path control information is received by the other transmitter, thereby switching synchronously between the transmitters and switching the monitor path rapidly without losing any important trouble information or control information.
