The system (1) has at least two mutually bounding plastic profiles (2a,2b) of essentially U shape and a U-shaped connecting collar (3) that extends to each plastic profile via end sections, whereby the connecting collar has at least one strip of hard material on an inner side with an arrangement for cutting into the plastic profiles to anchor the strip to the plastic profiles. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) strips with an arrangement for cutting into plastic profile (b) and a connecting collar for an inventive system.
