PURPOSE: A rotary type polishing device is provided to quickly and efficiently polish and clean a back-up roll by rotating a cleaning brush roll, a wet brush roll and a dry brush roll, selectively. CONSTITUTION: A rotary type polishing device is composed of a moving supporter(10) moving parallel to a back-up roll, a rotary drum(20) rotatably mounted to the moving supporter, a drum rotating unit for rotating the rotary drum, brush rolls(40,50) rotatably mounted at the circumference of the rotary drum, and a brush roll rotating unit. The brush rolls include a cleaning brush roll, a wet brush roll(40), and a dry brush roll(50). The brush roll rotating unit rotates one of the brush rolls.
