METHOD FOR CHANGING AUTOMATICALLY AUDIO MODE

PURPOSE: A method for changing automatically an audio mode is provided to optimize the audio mode and maximize a sound effect by determining what kind of audio data is inputted into the audio system. CONSTITUTION: A characteristic extraction unit(102) collects sample audio data(101) and analyzes characteristics of the sample audio data to extract the characteristics according to kinds of audio data such as music, drama, and sports. A pattern matching unit(202) receives the predetermined audio data and matches the predetermined audio data with patterns of the characteristics according to kinds of audio data. The kind of the audio data is determined by operation of the pattern matching unit. An audio mode is automatically changed according to the determined data mode by an audio mode converter(204).
