<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cell of a fuel cell capable of increasing amount of power generation while improving energy efficiency, and to provide a fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: A power generation part comprising three or more gas passages 15 and a solid electrolyte 13c held by a fuel electrode 13b and an air electrode 13d is provided on a side surface in width and thickness direction. The cell 13 of a fuel cell has a flat cross section.
