CUSTOMER CONTROL METHOD IN OPTICAL VPN SERVICE, NETWORK NODE UNIT, AND PROGRAM THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain path decision in an optical network of a service provider according to the policy of a customer in path setting by VPN control of the optical network and to realize real time control in cooperation with a control plane when the optical network adopts the GMPLS technology.

SOLUTION: A method for realizing path setting reflecting the policy of a customer 82 in an optical VPN service using the optical network wherein a plurality of network nodes 21 to 26 are tied in the optical fiber links 31 to 40 to provide optical paths between a limited number of customer apparatuses 11 to 16, is characterized in to include the steps of: dividing the optical network node 25 into a plurality of virtual nodes by a network management apparatus 51; accessing the virtual node 2512 by the customer 82; and enabling the customer 82 to set the virtual node 2512.
