<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a conventional automatic fee receipt system wherein offering and receipt of information gets sometimes incomplete, hindering the operation of the system if ETC vehicles and abnormal ETC vehicles intermingled on the road go toward automatic tollbooths. <P>SOLUTION: The system comprises a sender for sending response request signals; a receiver for receiving response signals from on-vehicle devices which respond to the response request signals; and a communication start determining means for starting communications once the receiver has received the response signals a plurality of times. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
