<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide forgery-proof printed matter whose genuineness can be easily determined by making emergence of a latent image which is otherwise difficult to discern by the naked eye, through reproduction, even in either of the cases, forgery by reproduction or forgery by alteration. <P>SOLUTION: The forgery-proof printed matter 1 has a title 3 as fixed information, an issuer indication 4, an issuance number 5 and a face value 6 as variable information printed on a sheet 2. The same information as the face value 6 whose alteration is not desired, is printed in a region X where the same information is not superposed over the face value 6, as a latent image which emerges distinguisably by the naked eye when reproduced, although the same information is difficult to distinguish because it is recognized the same as the background when viewed. Thus, the alteration of the variable information can be easily determined, as the latent image of the same information as the face value 6 emerges in the region X by reproduction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
