PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ridger mounted on a tractor, capable of conducting backward ridging operation, by turning a ridging part around, when an unplowed area of an existing ridge is formed into a new ridge. SOLUTION: This ridger has a machine frame equipped with a three point link joint for joining the frame to a tractor, a support plate positioned on a rear part of the machine frame, a support frame attached to one side of a gear box having power input shafts of which the each can be joined to a power output shaft of the tractor and is positioned longitudinally symmetrically to the other, a plowing unit and a ridging unit at an end part of the support frame, and turn shafts at an upper part and a lower part of the gear box, so that the ridger is turned in the right and the left directions with respect to the support plate of the machine frame. Further, the ridger is equipped with a power on-off mechanism which makes each of the power input shafts joined to and released from the power output shaft of the tractor on such positions that the gear box of the ridger originally exists and locates after it is turned, and with a turn driving means attached to the turn shafts of the gear box and the support plate, and the machine body is worked to be light-weight as the whole, so that turn driving of the ridger is made to be remotely controllable.
