PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect with a single switch that an optical pickup is positioned on an internal circumference of a disk medium and that drawing a tray is completed. SOLUTION: The device is provided with a means for displacing a switch driving member 21 by a rack member 37 driving the optical pickup 25 and switching the operation condition of a detecting switch 45 when the optical pickup 25 moves onto the internal circumference of the disk medium, a means for raising and lowering a chassis 17, by a slide cam 40, on which the optical pickup is mounted, a means for controlling so that driving of the optical pickup 25, the chassis 17 and the tray 15 is sequentially performed by sliding operation of the slide cam 40, and a means for sliding the slide cam 40 to a position different from the sequential operation control at a position where the drawing of the tray 15 is completed.
