PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compactify an Eppen block using ice for cooling an experimental sample in order to carry with reserving it at a target temperature. SOLUTION: A thermoelectric element 3 for heating and a thermoelectric element 4 for cooling are fixed on the metal Eppen block 1, and heat exchange between these elements is realized using a protrusion 7 of a heat radiating plate and a heat exchange fan 13. Power is supplied to the thermoelectric elements 3, 4 and the heat exchange fan 13 by a compact charging battery, and all the components including wires 5, 11 are stored in a case 9.
