A scenario information analyzer and a scenario information analyzing method for automatically calculating and outputting appropriate output information, e.g. a photographing schedule. The scenario information analyzer comprises a section for storing scenario information sectioned for respective scenes, a section for storing reference information concerning the data contained in the scenario information, a section for extracting the data from the scenario information and calculating output information based on the extracted data and the reference information, and a section for outputting the output information.
