A fluid mixer apparatus is provided for the saturation of liquids with dissolved gases. Liquid enters through an inlet (92) and flows in a distribution channel (93) around a radial grooved ring (94) having radial grooves (95), the radial grooves (95) divide the liquid stream into liquid sub-streams and impart a high velocity on each liquid sub-stream. An inlet gas metering valve (106) regulates the amount of gas which is injected through an orifice (98) into each liquid sub-stream to create a gas saturated liquid. The gas saturated liquid flows downward and out an outlet (109). Excess gas flows upward into a separation chamber (104) and is released from the separation chamber (104) through an outlet gas metering valve (103).
