<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper, for effectively dispersing the tensile force of fastening means provided on the side edges of a pair of side flaps disposed along the longidutinal end part of the diaper body. <P>SOLUTION: This disposable diaper includes: a top sheet; a back sheet; a diaper body formed of an absorber enclosed in the sheets; a pair of the side flaps disposed along the longitudinal end parts of the diaper body; and the fastening means provided on the side edge of each side flap. The side flaps are fitted by a fixing part for fixing the side edge confronting with the side edge provided with the fastening means to the diaper body; and a joining part for joining at least one or more of a side edge upper end region and a side edge lower end region to the side edge vicinity of the diaper body outside the fixing part in the cross direction. Thus, the force of pulling the diaper is dispersed to the respective joining parts and effectively applied to the waist or the periphery of the thigh. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
