PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operability of connecting operation of wired-connection of an electronic cassette with an external device. SOLUTION: (1) The electronic cassette 1 comprises a cable 5 and a connector 3 through which the electronic cassette 1 can be connected with the external device. (2) When setting a distance from the end face of the cassette to the connector 3 to be L, a distance from the center of a sensor to the end face of the cassette to be X and the shoulder width of the human body, the largest body width to be Wp, L is expressed by L≥Wp/2-X. (3) When setting a distance from the cassette end face to the connector 3 to be L, a distance from the center of the sensor to the cassette end face to be X and the width of a bed to be Wt, L is expressed by L≥Wt/2-X.
