PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle door capable of significantly and easily reducing the number of parts by forming a door reinforcement in a roughly annular shape along a door contour, reducing required man-hour for manufacturing the door by easily assuring the accuracy of each portion of the door, and capable of reducing the manufacturing cost of the door by easily improving the rigidity of the door reinforcement. SOLUTION: This vehicle door 10 mainly comprises an outer panel 11 constituting the contour of the door 10; the door reinforcement 12 formed in an annular shape almost along the contour of the door 10; and an upward open inner panel 13 of a roughly U shape. The door reinforcement 12 and front and rear edges and lower edge of the inner panel 13 are respectively welded to form a box-shaped cross section. Both ends of a side impact bar 16 are welded to front and rear vertical walls 17, 18 of the door reinforcement 12, and a door hinge is mounted on the vertical wall 17. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
