PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a lamp drive part when a xenon flash lamp (Xe lamp) is used as a fixing tool of a multi-printer. SOLUTION: The multi-printer 10 is composed of four printer main bodies 12-15 comprised of color thermal printers and a system controller 16 to control the same. The fixing tools 32 of the printer main bodies 12-15 are composed of Xe lamps. Each Xe lamp is driven by one lamp drive part 24 with a shifted light-emitting timing. It is unnecessary to provide the lamp drive part 10 for every printer main body 12-15, so that the miniaturization can be attained.
