PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for reducing the radiation of any unnecessary electromagnetic wave from a connector by stopping the transmission of any signal when no cable is connected. SOLUTION: This device is provided with: a device side connector 107 to which wiring for outputting a signal from a transmitter 102 is connected and a cable side connector 202 for receiving the signal from the outside is connected; and a connection detecting device 103 for detecting whether the device side connector 107 is connected to the cable side connector 202, and for instructing the transmitter 102 to stop of the output of the signal when it is found that the device side connector 107 is not connected to the cable side connector 202 as the detection result.
