PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an access device easy to be handled for conducting inspection and work such as cleaning for each portion on the inner face of a nuclear reactor shroud. SOLUTION: An upper guide 6 and a lower guide9 are provided in both upper and lower ends of a long support column 1, those are fittedly attached to holes of an upper lattice plate, a reactor core support plate or the like to be removably inserted, and one end of an arm 11 is journaled to an intermediate part of the column 1 to develop the arm 11 freely extendably. A working tool 10 or an inspection tool is attached to a tip of the arm 11. The arm 11 is turned to approach to the inner face of the shroud, so as to be able to carry out easily the work or the inspection for the shroud inner face. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
