PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove moisture, foreign matter and oxide in a refrigerant in a refrigerant circuit while operating a heating and cooling system; and to replace dirty lubricating oil in a compressor with new lubricating oil without replacing the compressor. SOLUTION: This cleaning device is used for the heating and cooling system for forming the closed refrigerant circuit by connecting an outdoor machine 5 having the compressor 1 and an outdoor side heat exchanger 3 and an indoor machine 7 having an indoor side heat exchanger 6. This cleaning device is composed of an oil/ refrigerant separating-recovering device 11 connected to the compressor 1 and respectively separating-recovering the lubricating oil O in the compressor 1 and the refrigerant R included in this lubricating oil, an oil/refrigerant supply device 12 connected to the low pressure side of the outdoor machine 5, supplying the new lubricating oil O to the low pressure side of the outdoor machine 5 and returning a part of the refrigerant R separated-recovered by the oil/refrigerant separating-recovering device 11 to the low pressure side of the outdoor machine 5 and a filter device 13 interposed between the high pressure side of the outdoor machine 5 and the indoor machine 7 and removing the moisture, the foreign matter and the oxide in the refrigerant R.
