<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorizing fiber having sufficient antistaticity and deodorizing property and provide a formed fiber product. <P>SOLUTION: The deodorizing fiber contains a fiber-treating agent at least composed of the following component (A), and component (B) and/or component (C) attached to the fiber in an amount of 0.2-5wt.% based on the weight of the fiber. The weight ratio of the component (A) in the fiber treating agent is 20-80wt.% and that of the component (B) and/or component (C) is 80-20wt.%. The component (A) is a composition composed mainly of a betaine-type ampholyteric compound and/or carbonyl compound, the component (B) is at least one kind of nonionic surfactant selected from alkylene oxide-added nonionic surfactants and polyhydric alcohol-type nonionic surfactants, and the component (C) is at least one kind of anionic surfactant selected from a carboxylic acid salt, a sulfonic acid salt, a sulfuric acid ester salt and a phosphoric acid ester salt. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
