<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem with a control in which a pre-stored relation between the operating position of an automatic clutch in specified conditions and the load torque of a drive motor, wherein the engagement shock of the automatic clutch occurs or the racing of an engine occurs. <P>SOLUTION: This device comprises a position instruction generating means, a first position control means, a second position control means, a motor state detection means, a clutch state detection means, and a switching means.
