<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate news contents to be displayed and outputted, all together on a personal computer of a televiewer who has signed a downloading contract with an internet information service company using high-speed Internet, based on each of weekly ranking display of major newspaper articles, a display which can be expanded/reduced/scrolled an article section arbitrarily selected in newspaper pages or in a single space page of newspaper, an animation which explains newspaper article ranked in weekly ranking, and a speech sound incidental to the animation as a material. <P>SOLUTION: Newspaper page data including photographs are extracted from a newspaper editing/production system of a newspaper company, and changed into data for electronic newspapers browsible with a personal computer. A news ranking screen is generated, in the order of descending placing areas of each page, animation/speech sound for explaining the news on the newspaper article is organized, data processing is conducted, and the news contents corresponding to the high-speed Internet is generated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
