PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color data precision computing method and its device capable of predicting a color with high precision by computing color signal pair precision about an actual data pair of an input color signal and an output color signal expressed multidimensionally and verifying a proper abnormal value.

SOLUTION: From a plurality of actual data pairs of the input color signal and the output color signal matching the input color signal, an objective output color signal matching an objective input color signal is extracted by an objective color signal pair extraction part 11, while a plurality of output peripheral color signals matching a plurality of input color signals on periphery of the objective input color signal are extracted by an output peripheral color signal extraction part 12. In a color signal pair precision computing part 13, color signal pair precision is computed from a plurality of output peripheral color signals and the objective output color signals by using an output color signal statistical distance serving as a statistical distance between a distribution of the output peripheral color signals and the objective output color signal.
