<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus with high color reproducibility capable of preventing a color of captured image data from being different from a color when the image data are converted and then displayed or outputted and also avoiding colors in both outputs from different output devices from being different when the output devices output the same image. <P>SOLUTION: The image processing apparatuses 100, 200 use an input profile F1 to convert received image data G1 into standard color image data G2 and use an output profile F3 to generate output image data G3 on the basis of the standard color image data, are provided with an input profile table T having a plurality of input profiles, select an input profile F2a for inversely converting a recording profile F2 used when the image data are recorded on a recording medium C from the input profile table, and use the selected input profile to convert the received image data into the standard color image data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
