[Also in Group VIII] A backing paper of improved flexibility having an overall thickness less than 0.004 inch comprises a sheet of paper having on one side a coating of black pigment in a binder consisting of vinylidene chloride-acrylonitrile copolymer or styrene-butadiene copolymer; and on the other side a coating of yellow pigment in a binder consisting of vinylidene chloride-acrylonitrile copolymer, styrene-butadiene copolymer, or zein, and a clear zein supercoat. The paper and pigments used and the numerals printed on the backing paper may be as described in Specifications 717,926 and 717,958 to which references are made.
