PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylindrical component capable of changing a tip diameter and elastically shrinking and expanding a diameter on a tip side of a peripheral wall. SOLUTION: The peripheral wall of the cylindrical member in which a space is formed on an inner side is formed by arranging many fins in which side end sides are slidably joined alternately or sequentially in a circular shape so that the diameter on the tip side of the peripheral wall is elastically contracted or expanded. The fins are curved or bent in the outer peripheral direction, and the cylindrical member has a conically tubular shape in which the tip side is expanded on the whole. A side end of the fin is slidably joined with the other adjacent side end. The adjacent fins are partially and mutually overlapped in the peripheral direction to form the peripheral wall sealed with an outer peripheral part on the whole. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
