PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of increasing cost for requiring to use a multilayer aluminum deposition film superior in gas barrier performance as a sealing film of a vacuum heat insulating panel for maintaining a degree of vacuum of the inside in a refrigerator having a heat insulating box body filled with urethane foam by inserting the vacuum heat insulating panel into a hollow part made of an outer box and an inner box. SOLUTION: A foaming heat insulating material 11 and a carbon dioxide adsorbent 13 are put in the inner box of the outer box 5; the foaming heat insulating material 11 and the carbon dioxide adsorbent 13 are covered with the sealing film 15; the heat insulating panel 3 for constituting the outer box 5, the sealing film 15 and the contour is formed; and a part except for an outer box abutting surface of the heat insulating panel is formed of the urethane foam. This constitution can dispense with the sealing film since the outer box also serves as the sealing film in the outer box abutting surface of the heat insulating panel so that the inexpensive, highly heat insulating and highly reliable refrigerator can be provided.
