<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a direct mail shipment intermediary system which can perform shipping DMs, adapted to business needs for lower costs, while protecting consumer privacy. <P>SOLUTION: The direct mail shipping intermediary system is equipped with a server 11 connectable to clients 13 and 14 via the Internet 12. The server 11 has a database, and characteristically executes a database construction step, an extraction step which extracts candidate consumers applicable to predetermined entries from the database, a transmission step which transmits the number of the extracted candidate consumers to the client 14, and a shipping list preparation step which prepares a shipping list for shipping a direct mail when a request for shipping a direct mail to the candidate consumers is received via the client 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
